Work on the Protocol Layer That Makes EV Networks Run
We're a small engineering team in Jacksonville, FL implementing OCPP, OpenADR 2.0b, and OCPI at production scale — connecting real EVSE hardware to real operations stacks. The problems are protocol-level, the customers are operators with real infrastructure, and the team is small enough that you own what you build.
Open Roles
We're Hiring
Three open roles. Engineering, customer success, and sales — each requires genuine interest in EV charging infrastructure. We're a technical team and expect everyone to develop working knowledge of OCPP and how the charging stack fits together.
How We Work
Culture at Emobi
Small Team, Real Ownership
At 5–8 people, every role owns a large surface area. You're not a ticket-resolver; you design and build the systems you maintain.
Direct Communication
We don't have layers of management between you and the decision that affects your work. If you see a problem, say so. We'll address it immediately.
The Protocol Work Is Real
OCPP implementation decisions made here run on physical EVSE at commercial and public sites. OpenADR integrations built here participate in real utility demand response events. The software isn't abstract — it's connected to hardware on real grids.
Don't See Your Role?
OCPP, Energy Systems, or Distributed Backend Experience?
If you have hands-on experience with OCPP protocol implementation, OpenADR or energy management systems, or high-throughput WebSocket infrastructure — reach out directly even if there's no matching open role listed above.
